Discover exclusive reserve wines at William Chris Vineyards with our Reserve Tasting. Begin this seated tasting with a selection of limited library wines in our Oak Room. A bite from our culinary team will be paired with the first wine pairing to elevate your initial tasting. During this journey of Texas winemaking, you will enjoy four tastings.
To continue your Texas wine making journey, you will be guided into our barrel room behind the scenes, where our wine comes alive. Learn about the art of winemaking through educational interactive sessions, making each sip more memorable. Our Reserve Tasting is a celebration of the finest wines we offer, crafted with care and shared with the warmth of Texas hospitality.

The moment you pull off Highway 290 onto the William Chris grounds, you can’t help but be in awe of the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country. From the simple charm of our original farmhouse to the modern tasting room surrounded by an active vineyard – all elements of our property are beautifully suited to their terroir and expressive of our reverence for the past and vision for the future.
Experience Note
This tasting starts in the comfort of our newest tasting space, the Oak Room, where you can see our beautiful Oak Tree Grove through big glass walls. Your senses will come alive with vintage wines that can’t be found anywhere else. The Reserve Tasting takes you on a cozy, seated adventure where every glass tells a story of the love and hard work we put into our vineyard. We’ll even take you into our barrel room, where you’ll learn how we make our wines. This experience is not just about tasting; it’s about learning and connecting with the journey from grape to your glass.
FAQ
Pet Policy
Out of consideration for all of our guests, dog lovers as well as those who are not, we require your four-legged friends to remain outside and on a leash. No pets are allowed inside the tasting room without service animal designation/certification. We also kindly request you follow these guidelines when bringing pets to the vineyard:
- Dogs are to remain on a leash at all times.
- Please help us keep this property beautiful, and clean up after your dog. Bags and receptacles are provided.
- Pet owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior – please remain attentive.
- Dogs MUST be up to date on all shots.
- Be mindful of your neighbors, and be courteous.
- Dogs who display any type of aggression are not allowed.
Cancellations
We understand that unexpected conflicts arise. We kindly ask that if possible, you provide us with 24 hours notice if you are unable to make your scheduled reservation so that we may accommodate other guests. Call us at 830.998.7654 or email reservations@williamchriswines.com to cancel.
Food Allergies
Gluten-Free & Vegetarian options are available upon request. Please leave your request when booking your experience. Allergy modifications to the menu need to be communicated directly to the property one day in advance.
